Weddings
Non-members are welcome to have their wedding officiated
by our pastor. Our fellowship hall can be made for receptions following weddings at our church, or we can bundle a reception with Merriman Farms event center.
Our sanctuary comfortably seats 180. Weddings must generally be booked at least six (6) weeks in advance, pending availability. The pastor provides pre-marital counseling as part of the wedding package at no additional charge.

Baptisms
In baptism, we are joined to Christ's universal church: a church unbounded by borders or denominations. However, when you are baptized at our church, you also become a member of our church.
If you are interested in joining First United Methodist Church in ongoing worship and ministry in our community, we welcome you. For children under age 15, the parent(s) or guardian do need to become members of our church.
Funerals
Our sanctuary is also available to members of the greater Tom Bean community for Celebration of Life and funerary services, officiated by our pastor. End of life services hosted at our church may also arrange to use our Fellowship Hall for catered receptions. We work with the family and funeral home to ensure an end-of-life service appropriate to your loved one.
