Children's Ministries
Nursery (newborn to Pre-K)
The Nursery is staffed both during the 9:30am Sunday School hour, and during the 10:30am worship hour, providing care and nurture to children from newborn through Pre-K. Toddlers and Pre-Ks are introduced to prayer and Bible stories about God and Jesus Christ through storytime, music and play.
Preparers (K-2nd Graders)
My love for teaching children started when I was in high school. First came my own children, followed by those in my classroom as a public school teacher, and now I'm blessed with a Sunday School class.
Jesse and I have been members of First UMC Tom Bean since 1988. The congregation has loved and supported our family through joys and sorrows. This church family loves and supports the children of this church in any way possible as.they are the future of Christianity. My love and thanks goes to all who help me bring the joy of our faith to these little ones. Come join us!

Challengers (3-5th Graders)
The "Challengers" Sunday School class introduces our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to reading the Bible and understanding the basics of the Old and New Testaments. Students develop understanding of Christian faith through creative projects, learning through play, and group discussion.
